Tom Brady picks his favorite moment from the Olympics and jokes about Manning’s HOF induction.
Tom Brady is one of the most successful athletes in American history. He has won five Super Bowls and four NFL MVP awards, as well as two league championships with the New England Patriots.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics were about to end, but Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was still in the Olympic spirit, particularly after his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, shared a video from the 2016 Rio Olympics on her Instagram account. Bundchen, a Brazilian native, shared a video of her final catwalk performance, when she strutted the walk that made her famous across the globe during the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Gisele said in the caption, “Time flies!!! I can’t believe it’s been five years since I had the privilege of representing my nation in the Olympics’ opening ceremony!” The supermodel claimed she still gets chills thinking about the tremendous energy she felt on the night she took the “longest walk of my life” as 60,000 people sang “The Girl from Ipanema.” Brady, who turned 44 last week, had an anticipated response to his wife’s message.
Brady responded with the phrase “My favorite Olympic moment,” followed by two love eyes emojis. Brady and Gisele are renowned for sending each other romantic notes on their social media profiles. Gisele recently made fun of Brady’s Madden 22 speed rating.
Brady will attend Manning’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Brady will attend the Hall of Fame ceremony of close friend and former NFL rival Peyton Manning on Sunday in Canton, Ohio, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Brady will join Manning’s former teammates and coaches in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s former quarterbacks section. “Tom Brady is coming in and sitting in my section,” Manning remarked, adding that he’s not sure how Brady’s presence will affect his Indianapolis Colts teammates.
Brady will travel into Canton on the Buccaneers’ day off from training camp, according to Charean Williams of NBC Sports. Manning’s induction will be attended by several Buccaneers coaches, including head coach Bruce Arians and assistant Clyde Christensen, as well as offensive consultant Tom Moore. Brady joked on Twitter that he’d be there to make sure Manning was really retired.

Manning values Brady’s presence much.
Manning’s initial quarterbacks coach with the Colts was Arians, and Christensen also coached Manning while in Indianapolis. Moore, on the other hand, was a long-time offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.
Manning added of his old adversary Brady, “It means a lot that he’s taking the time.” Brady and Manning’s rivalry generated some of the most memorable moments in NFL history. Brady had the upper hand in their 17 career encounters, winning 11 of them. Manning, on the other hand, went 3-2 versus Brady in the playoffs. While Manning is on his way to the Hall of Fame, Brady continues to make headlines in the NFL. Brady signed a two-year, $50 million contract with the Buccaneers last offseason after 20 seasons and six Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots. He led them to their first Super Bowl win since 2002 with a 31-9 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.
